The Configuration Wizards page is your home for configuring your controller manually and its interface will vary depending on the current status or configuration of your controller.
For help on arrays, see Arrays: How to ... in ACU help.

In the center of the Main page, you can view the active controller and its configuration.
By default, the Logical View is displayed in the Logical/Physical
Configuration window. The current view can be changed to Physical view by clicking
on the Show Physical View link and in the case of the Physical view being shown,
the view can be changed to Logical view by clicking on the Show Logical View
link.
Use the Active Controller View to check proposed changes to your original configuration as the Configuration Wizards' tasks progress.
The controller is displayed in a hierarchical form in its current configuration. All arrays, physical drives or logical drives, spares, and active spares are depicted in the Active Controller View window. By clicking on any of the drives or arrays within this window, an information screen that lists additional information on the selected item will appear. For example, if you have a controller selected, the screen shows the controller type, slot number, and number of physical drives. For more information, see Getting More Information in ACU help.

This link will be present on the Configuration Wizards Main page unless changes have been made to the controller and ACU will then give you the opportunity to discard those changes before saving them by using the Discard Changes link.
The Refresh Controller link can be used to refresh the controller Active Controller
View window and should be used to scan for any devices that have been added
to or removed from the current controller.

The Discard Changes link can be used to back out of a configuration choice by
returning the controller to its initial configuration prior to any current Configuration Wizards choices. This option will be available to you after any Configuration Wizards changes.

If the highlighted controller has any pending status information, you can click
on this link to view the controller's status. The Status Messages icon will
change based on the severity of the status messages.

The Save link can be used to save any current Configuration Wizards choices permanently
to the controller and its configuration. This option will be available to you
after any Configuration Wizards changes that can be saved.

After clicking on one of the links available on the Configuration Wizards Main page, the Configuration Wizards progress bar at the bottom of the screen will track the status of the configuration.
In addition, during the Configuration Wizards, the following links or combinations of links may be present depending on the current action:
Select the Begin link to start the configuration process.
Select the Next link to apply your current choice and proceed to the next step in the configuration process.
Select the Cancel link to quit the Configuration Wizards and discard the current task. The Cancel link in the Configuration Wizards acts differently than the Cancel link in the Express Wizard. In the Express Wizard, a Cancel erases ALL changes made to the configuration
and returns the controller to its previous state. In the Configuration Wizards, the Cancel will only disregard the current task and will keep other changes made since
the last Save, and then will eventually return you to the Main Configuration Wizards page from which you will have the option of disgarding all changes made to the configuration or saving only those changes desired.
Select the Finish link to apply the changes made during the current Configuration Wizards task. Once returned to the Main Configuration Wizards page you will have the option of saving the configuration by clicking on the Save icon.
Unlike the Express Configuration Wizard's Finish link, the Configuration Wizards Finish link does not automatically save all changes made. To save all changes made since the last configuration save, and keeping the tasks you
have currently changed, please click on the Save icon.
