Entering a License Key

NOTE: The Enter a License Key Link will only be present if the selected controller supports this feature.

For links and interfaces common to the License Key Management Tasks, please see License Key Management Overview in ACU help.

During the Enter a License Key task, ACU will present the user with a page to enter the 25 character License Key and submit that Key for validation.

Enter License Key Page

On this screen, the License Key Management Task will ask you to enter the 25 character License Key you would like to validate.

Once the Key has been entered, clicking on the Submit link will cause ACU to check the validity of the entered Key, and if the Key is valid, ACU will save the Key to the current controller and enable the Feature of that particular Key.

Enter License Key Parameters

Enter your 25 character License Key in these 5 input fields.

Validating License Key Page

After entering the 25 character License Key, and clicking on the Submit link, ACU will display this page while validating and saving the valid Key to the controller.

If the Key was valid, and it has been saved to the controller, ACU will enable the Feature of that particular License Key.

Successful License Key Entry Page

On this screen, ACU will display the successfully validated License Key, and the name of the Feature that the valid Key enabled. In addition, the Existing License Key Table will now display the new Key as a highlighted entry to the table. If you are unable to view the highlighted entry, then there are other License Keys on the controller and you must scroll the table to view the new Key entry.

Activated License Key

ACU will display the activated Key and the Feature it has enabled in this table.

Highlighted Key in Existing Key Table

Once the Key has been successfully validated, it will be displayed in the Existing License Key(s) Table as a highlighted entry. If you are unable to view the highlighted Key entry, then there are other License Keys on the controller, and you will have to scroll the table to see the new Key entry.
