Express Configuration Overview | ![]() |
In the following screens, you will be asked a few simple questions that will allow you to configure your controller. You will have a chance at the end to review your choices and make changes before they are saved. During the Express configuration wizard, you will be shown various options depending on how your controller is currently configured and the controller's capabilities. The Express configuration wizard is able to handle all tasks, from creating logical drives if they are not present, configuring unassigned physical drives, and creating or expanding arrays. Active Controller View Use the Active Controller View to check proposed changes to your original configuration as the Express Configuration Wizard progresses. The controller is displayed in a hierarchical form in its current configuration. All arrays, physical drives or logical drives, spares, and active spares are depicted in the Active Controller View window. By clicking on any of the drives or arrays within this window, an information screen that lists additional information on the selected item will appear. For example, if you have a controller selected, the screen shows the controller type, slot number, and number of physical drives. For more information, see Getting More Information in ACU help.
